Brittany Maybrun

Hello! 

My name is Brittany Maybrun. I am thrilled to be teaching 5th grade at Loomis Basin Charter School! This is my first year teaching at LBCS and my ninth year working in education. Prior to joining the LBCS community, my most recent teaching position was in Sacramento, CA. I taught 4th grade for six years in an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). I am so excited to continue educating lifelong learners to be inquirers, critical thinkers, and global citizens.

I was born and raised in Sonoma County, CA. I graduated from Dominican University of California with an undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I earned my graduate degree in Gifted and Talented Education from the University of Southern California. When I am not in the classroom, I love traveling, golfing, exploring the beautiful nature in our state, and playing with my two Shih Tzus: Rose and Ruby.
