I am happy to be returning for my 9th year at LBCS. I absolutely love our community and our program, and I feel very fortunate to be a parent and a teacher here.
This year, I am teaching 5th grade for the very first time, but I have been in education for 17 years now. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 6th grades, and I have taught reading intervention and PE. I was the Student Services Coordinator at LCBS for four years, and the director for the last three. I have worked in Gonzales, Dry Creek, and Loomis school districts.
This year I choose to come back to the classroom so I could enjoy more quality time with my family. My two children are students here at LBCS, and we love going to visit my dad and my sister's family in Pacific Grove as well as my husband's family in Prunedale. I appreciate the relationships I was able to build as Student Services Coordinator and Director, and I am happy I can carry them with me as I step back into the classroom.
While this year is starting off differently than we had hoped, I know we'll work together to provide the best possible education for our kids.
