Mrs. Lauren Magorian

Hello! My name is Lauren Magorian (Mrs. M). I am so excited to be teaching at Loomis Basin Charter School. I graduated from the University of Nevada Reno with a Bachelors of Science in Integrated Elementary Education with an emphasis in Special Education. I absolutely love teaching "the littles" in the Primary Grades. It is such a time of growth and exploration for our students that I love being a part of. It is my belief that given a safe, encouraging, and stimulating learning environment, ALL students can achieve their learning goals. This will be my second year as an Elementary Educator, but I have worked in the educational setting in a variety of settings. Before I became a teacher I also tutored, was a mentor for an elementary student book club, and coached a robotics team.

I was born and raised in Southern California. I moved to Auburn when I was 18 and consider the Sierra Foothills to be my home. Now that I have moved back from attending university in Reno, I am so excited to be teaching and living where I consider home to be! In my free time I love swimming, mountain biking, camping, traveling, exploring the natural beauty of our Golden State, and playing with my two Aussiedoodles: Dutch and Teddy.

I am excited to meet and grow with your child as we tackle the fun and challenges of 2nd grade! I am also excited to meet and work with you to ensure the best learning experience for your child. Looking forward to a great school year!
