Senora Spangler
Welcome!
My name is Mrs. Spangler and I’m so excited to be part of the Loomis Basin Charter School community! I was raised in Sacramento, but now a Loomis local who’s passionate about education and inspiring children. I’m a Sacramento State alumni who received a bachelor’s degree and then went on to pursue my teaching career. This will be my seventh year teaching. I’m fluent in both English and Spanish with expanded study in both French and Italian.
My husband, Nathan, and I have a two year old daughter named Emilia. Our family loves our dog named Ollie. As a family we love spending time recreationally and exploring the outdoors in nature. My personal interests include paddle boarding, hiking, yoga, reading, and exploring the Arts.
My favorite part of teaching and continuous goal is to keep encouraging students to develop inquiring, engaging minds, encouraging exploration, helping cultivate goals, be compassionate and lifelong learners who help create a better and harmonious world through intercultural understanding and respect. I look forward to this upcoming school year and getting to know all of my new students and families at LBCS.
