Ms. Shereen Sahota -- 5th Grade

Hi, I’m Shereen Sahota, Fifth Grade Teacher at LBCS! 

I have taught across the board, from preschool to High School, and K-8’s are my absolute favorite because of their close knit structure. I came to LBCS first as a parent and then loved and lived the philosophy of IB so much that I was lucky enough to get a position here! As part of the Fifth Grade team I play a part in Exhibition, our PYP capstone project and I love it more and more each year! The project is centered around UNICEF’s Global Goals, something that is near and dear to my heart.

I’m a Mom to two Mustangs and in our spare time we enjoy creating art, cooking all my pinned recipes, and traveling-we love opportunities to cross places off our bucket list but also enjoy the local beauty our region has to offer. 

My goal is always to connect to each of my students, challenge them in innovative ways and push them to see things from multiple perspectives all whilst having fun!  Seeing a student smile after achieving a goal they have worked for gives me so much joy! It’s the biggest perk of my job!
