Kaitlin Culhane

 

Hi, I’m Kaitlin Culhane. I couldn’t be more excited to be part of the Loomis Basin Charter School family. I have always had a passion for teaching children and am so thankful to be given the opportunity to spend each day doing what I truly love. I am a world traveler having been to Italy , France , Spain , Germany , Australia , Canada , Mexico , Ireland , England , Wales , and Greece . I have a great interest in all cultures and believe it is important that students learn about and celebrate a variety. This is one reason why I think that being part of an I.B. school is such an amazing opportunity. Being able to teach in an environment that focuses on the total growth of the developing child, touching their hearts as well as their minds and encompassing physical, social, emotional and cultural needs along side academic development is a truly wonderful thing. I love sports and believe that happy children are active children. It is important we work our bodies as well as our minds. We will be learning a lot of very fun and exciting things this year, so I hope you are as eager and ready as I am!
