SSA meetings are generally planned for the first Wednesday of every month at 3:20 pm Virtually or in the Library. The meetings are open to all LBCS parents.

- October 6 - Beginning of Year Feedback, LCAP and Safety Plan
- November 3 -- Prepare for Lottery, Start 21-22 Survey Discussion
- December 1 - Kindergarten Lottery 4:15 pm

- February 2 - Mid-year Feed back, LCAP and SSA Survey
- March 2 - Finalize Survey
- April 6 - Share Survey Results, End of Year Feedback, Goals for Future
- May 4 - LCAP Approval (Tentative)
The primary objectives of the SSA is to help identify needs and offer advice to administration. The SSA shall be a link between the school and the local community, and it will serve as a means for participatory guidance through which the various stakeholders in the school community may assist the school and the school may assist the community. The stakeholders are parents, students, other community representatives, professional educators, and other school staff. The SSA shall be a resource to the school and school principal. Some of the responsibilities of our team include the following:
- Offer input on program and school logistics
- Help identify needs and opportunities
- Assisting in the coordination of special events
- Parental/community involvement projects
- Public relations
- Enlisting volunteers
- Annual Safety Plan Update
- Annual Kindergarten Lottery
- Annual Community Survey
- Input on the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP)
