Hi, I'm Laura Darbro and I am so excited about my new adventure teaching 3rd Grade. 

I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Leeds followed by my Multiple Subject teaching credential from Middlesex University, both of which are in England. I then recently earned my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University.

In my teaching career, I have taught Grades 2-7 and have loved different things about the different ages. Throughout my teaching career, I have been driven to ensure the differing needs of all the children in my class have been met academically, socially and emotionally. This led me to obtain my Education Specialist credential, which has enabled me to learn so much about helping each and every child fulfill their true potential.

Outside of school I love traveling with my family - from day trips exploring the local areas to exciting trips overseas! I have been very fortunate to have visited so many wonderful countries each with their own unique history and culture. I am always seeking the opportunity to further my traveling experiences. 

I feel so privileged to be working with such great children, parents, and staff at LBCS and I truly love coming to work each day.
